About

Why everything runs in your browser

Vatly is a set of business calculators for people who send invoices, set prices and pay tax. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. There is no server to upload to, no account to create and no database holding your numbers, because none of that is needed to multiply two amounts together.

The privacy position is the design

Most calculator sites process your figures on their servers, which means your costs, prices and client names pass through someone else's infrastructure. Ours do not. The page is a static file, the math runs locally, and when you close the tab, nothing remains. This is not a feature we added; it is the foundation the whole site is built on.

How we keep the rates honest

The rate table covers 40 countries and is reviewed quarterly against official sources: HMRC in the UK, the European Commission for EU members, and each country's tax authority where available. Every rate page carries a review date, and the calculators label their output as planning arithmetic, not filing advice.

How the site is funded

The calculators stay free because the site is supported by advertising. No sponsored tools, no affiliate pushes inside the calculators, no email capture walls. If an ad appears, it sits beside the content, and the tools themselves stay clean.

What we will not do

We do not give tax advice. The rules are country specific and change often, and a calculator that guesses your obligations would be worse than useless. What we do is the arithmetic correctly, point at the official sources, and let you decide. If you find a rate that looks wrong, tell us at[email protected] and we will check it.
